She spared no expense in ushering Frances Bean into adulthood at her ‘RIP childhood‘ themed 16th birthday.

The event – held at Los Angeles’ House of Blues restaurant – saw Frances sporting a dress previously worn by her father Cobain at a performance at Reading Festival.

Amy WineHouse is incredibly talented and she was once what I would call beautiful in her own way. She has her own style that is unique and cool but..now..how much farther can this poor girl go before she hits bottom? She looks like the walking dead and it seems to me she doesn’t care much anyway..
Sad really sad.. She also makes the scariest expressions. I don’t think I’ve ever seen celeb pictures as bad as hers are and of course the paparazzi and society in general are just eating it up.
Disgusting really how it all works. It used to be Britney we watched falling apart now the world has their eyes on Amy. I doubt Amy’s dad is going to save her like Britney’s did and even if he tried which I believe he has I don’t see her as the type to let him. Plus she doesn’t have any kids to hold over her head as a threat like Brtney does.. I just hope something happens to wake her up before it is too late and I’m posting about another dead celebrity..to add to my growing list. WAKE UP AMY!!

Celebrity Photoshop and body image in my 30’s

Women in our society are constantly trying to live up to a level of beauty that is sold to them through fashion mags, TV and movies..what we all might not realize is how much of that beauty is a computer generated.
Fantasy women that real women could never measure up too.
I think these pictures are an eye opener and goes to show just how incredibly fooled we all are by the media. We’ve been bamboozled! Don’t get me wrong I think we all like to look at beautiful people but  it’s also nice to know we’re not so bad after all too..that everyone has their faults and no one is picture perfect.

What’s been hard for me is just getting older.. not being in my twenties anymore…and when I turned 35 whoa I really started to feel old. I want to see the beauty in myself but its not always easy because I do notice those little smile lines and imperfections that come with natural aging..I see them everyday and it does get me depressed.

I’m really grateful for Roy because he’s always telling me “Your so beautiful” which usually makes me feel better but then again deep down inside I’m also always thinking to myself.. he’s just saying that because he loves me.. so he can’t win for losing. Haha!

I think I struggle with the same thing a lot of other women…body image and lack of self esteem. It’s something I want to work on and something I want to get over.

If the media were to ban Photoshop retouches..could you just imagine? Women might actually start to feel better about themselves when we all begin to realize that our favorite stars have the same smile lines that we do..would we admire them ore or less?

I was just going through some old pictures in my Fotki albums and I found this picture of Demri and Layne..I love this picture. I miss them. This was a picture that Demri’s Mom gave me at Demri’s funeral. It was just a photo copy. I hung it on my wall and took a picture of it so that’s why it looks weird it’s hanging on my wall. This was taken at RockCndy in Seatlle during an Aids benefit..around 1992. This was during the good old days before everything fell to shit and they turned into sad reflections of their former selves….and then passed away. Demri in 1996 and Layne in 2002. Rest in Peace my sweet friends.

My Indiana Jones 4 – Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Review

I went to see the new Indiana Jones 4 And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull movie last night at the Cinetopia with some of my friends from Dotster which included Mike, Chris R., Justin, Annie, Jason, Chelsea, Chris M. and me.

Spoiler warning…

Steven Spielberg is again directing, and George Lucas producing..so that basically explains why things were done the way they were done..it was what I might call a mash up of Indiana Jones, E.T and Star Wars.

Huh? You might ask yourself..yeah well so did I.

The CGI in some parts of the movie were not up to par in comparison..like some of the effects were just corny while others were amazing!! Also parts of the storyline didn’t really match up or make sense or were never explained at all.

Lets put it this way.. it was just not at all what I expected of Indiana Jones and I was not alone in my opinion. I mean WTF? What in the hell was up with the aliens? I mean the CGI aliens were amazing and the last scene of the movie was way cool if it was supposed to be a sci-fi movie but this was Indiana Jones not E.T. so the whole alien concept just kinda ruined it for me! However after all my complaining..I thought it was worth watching and I had a blast going to the movies..we were taking shots of Captain Morgans and Root Bear like high school kids in my mini-van in the parking lot before the movie..I have tinted windows. We went to the late late show..it got out at 1am! We had fun. Cate Blanchet looked amazing as usual and played a perfect villain!

Ok, I don’t know how many of you watched this seasons Rock of love but I know I’m not the only tasteless loser out there. I might just be the only one who will openly admit it.. but never the less I know I’m not alone. If you watched the reunion last night then you saw how Heather from season 1 attacked Daisy AGAIN.
Seriously, if I were Daisy I’d sue the shit out of Heather and I’d definitely press charges for assault. I can’t stand that Dirty Bitch Heather. She’s a washed up stripper, she-demon. I think Daisy’s kinda hot and I like her. I didn’t at first ..my first impression was that she was kinda scary looking and I didn’t like her big over pumped lips..but by the end of the show she just kinda grew on me. Amber the girl he picked looks like a horse. (Amber being a bad girl)
I liked how Daisy handled herself when those bitch ass girls emotionally and physically attacked her in Las Vegas. She kept her cool..most girls would of folded under the pressure.
I also thought she kicked ass on the reunion show. When Heather pushed her and she almost fell down she sure enough flew right back up at her like a cat pouncing. You know she’s Oscar De La Hoya’s niece? Yep it’s True.
Brett Michaels is just your typical player. He could give a rats ass about love. He just takes those girls out for a test drive around the block and then turns in the keys.
The only rock he’s thinking about is the one in his pants.

Sam Lufti you got SERVED!

Jamie Spears’ minions finally tracked down Sam Lutfi.

After three weeks of dodging process servers, Britney Spears’ former “side-kick” was officially bestowed with a temporary restraining order barring him from any contact with the Blackout songbird.

Lutfi, 33, was served February 21 at about 11 a.m., as he left his apartment on the west side of Los Angeles, according to court documents obtained by E! News. (View the document.)
According to the order, Lutfi must stay clear of Britney, and that includes phone contact, through March 17.

In an affidavit submitted in support of the restraining order, mother Lynne Spears alleged:”Mr. Lutfi drugged Britney. He has cut Britney’s home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything—Britney’s business manager, her attorneys, and the security guards at the gate.” (View the declaration.)

Sam Lutfi is also under investigation by the Robbery Homicide division of LAPD for allegedly drugging Britney Spears. Investigators are also looking into whether or not this was an attempted homicide, which is why homicide/murder detectives are working on the case.

Lutfi’s rep challenged the service of process, but the judge said Lutfi has been properly served.
Lutfi’s rep also denies Lutfi is being investigated by LAPD, after previously acknowledging he and his client were aware of the investigation.Captain Kyle Jackson of the Robbery Homicide division has issued the following statement regarding the LAPD’s investigation:

“The issues regarding Britney Spears are being considered by the department to determine if laws have been violated. Particular suspects have not yet been fully identified nor has a formal investigation into open charges officially commenced. At this time we don’t know whether or not a formal investigation will be initiated.”

Sam may have got the idea from Howard Stern, who fed Anna Nicole Smith a steady diet of pills, methadone, and other drugs that eventually led to her death.

Jennifer Lopez has finally clued the public into what’s written on her babies’ birth certificates. Maximiano and Emelina, Max and Emme for short. Lopez’s manager, Simon Fields, confirmed to People Fri, 29 Feb 2008:

J.Lo and Marc Anthony’s newborn twins are—sweetly, simply—named Max and Emme, Lopez’s manager, Simon Fields, confirmed to People Friday.

The children were born Feb. 22 at a Long Island hospital, with Emme arriving at 12:12 a.m., weighing 5 pounds, 7 ounces, and her 6-pound little brother showing up at 12:23 a.m.

These are the first offspring for Lopez, while Anthony has three other children from two previous relationships.

Jennifer Lopez spent a whopping $1.4 million for her twins’ birth. According to reports, the new mom made sure her diva demands were met.

Sources says Lopez, who delivered a boy and a girl at North Shore University Hospital in New York on February 22, shelled out $700,000 to reserve the lavish birthing suite at the hospital. She also spent $175,000 per week for the suit, which had been reserved for three weeks before she even checked in.
