Another Great Affiliate that actually pays! WPWebHost.com I just signed up with them as an affiliate and added a banner to the bottom of my posts using the Shantz WordPress Prefix/Suffix Plugin which I also love by the way.

I earned 70.00 bucks with only 2 referrals and in no time at all.  If your like me when you first found out about affiliate marketing you thought “great I can just add links to my website and I’ll make money”. Well it’s really not that easy.

I’m very picky about the affiliates I add to my website. If I don’t believe in their product I’m not gonna bug my visitors with their ads. I just found this site called MagPie. They embed their users ads into your Twitter posts. Not every single post .. you can actually approve which ads are posted and how often their posted. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet.. I did sign up so we shall see.

UBD Block Ad Wordpress Plugin

I recently started using the UBD Block Ad Plugin for Wordpress and I really like it. It’s super easy to configure. The plugin comes with a user interface that allows you to manage your advertisers banner ads in your sidebar and you can add up to 10 at a time. It gives you the ability to choose how many ads show at a time. You can choose to show all ten of your ads or rotate 3-4 ads at a time.

The plugin automatically rotates your advertisers for you. Now you can spend less time managing your affiliates banners. It’s all done for you with this plugin. I love it.

Co-developed by Alex King and UBD, the new plugin is a must for anyone who uses block ads on their Wordpress blog. With smart, easy to use features, the plugin will help you manage the advertising more effectively than manually editing code (if you are even familiar with editing code, that is).

I joined these sites just as an affiliate since my blog is not popular enough yet..but if you have a popular blog why not join sites like Review me? You’d be posting about these sites most likely anyway why not get paid to do it?

I remember when posting ads on your site was considered a no-no ..well things have changed and I think if you believe in the product it’s ok to post ads on your website. Some will disagree I’m sure. Oh well. I pay for my website.
