Doodle Love

I got a new GoldenDoodle puppy a couple days ago and he’s adorable. I had been researching them online and I searched through ever doodle site there is online.. looking for the perfect puppy at the perfect price. Which was not even close to easy. Most Doodles whether they be Labradoodles (Half Lab/Half Poodle) or GoldenDoodle (half Golden Retriever/Half Poodle) cost anywhere between 1,200 to 2,500 depending on the breeder and the location.

I found a breeder in Oregon (www.thegoldendoodles.net) which is an hour away and they had three Goldendoodle puppies 10 weeks old. The price for these 3 had gone down from $875 to $500! So, I jumped on it.

I’ve had and still have Doodle on the brain. I think they are the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen and extremely smart, loving and the best part..NO or very LOW SHEDDING! semi Hypo-allergenic dogs. Can’t beat that.

So here’s my puppy…kicking back.. I need to post some better pictures and I will this is one my best friend took yesterday morning.

This the picture my breeder sent me to pick from..he’s on the far left. She said he was the calmest so I picked him and boy was she ever right I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a mellow puppy in my life. Amazing!!

He’ll look like this eventually….

Dreamyicons - Free Profile Icons for Live Journal

When I started really getting into the whole online social thing it all began with Live Journal and a community I started called Dreamyicons. We held icon contests based on themes. Now the community is just members posting icons that they’ve created..no more contests. So you’ll notice a lot of the icons have themes and you’ll also notice a lot of adult themed icons. I love pin-up art so.. I hope your eyes are not offended by sexy chicks.

**Back Story**
Apparently, she wanted to make the hallway appear that it had snow in it, so she decided to use a fire extinguisher (this is something that her dad has successfully done in the past). Instead of there just being a “little poof”, the entire hallway filled with chemicals that caused the fire alarm to go off in the middle of the night during finals week.

Now this is her in the car upset that everyone at Alpha Chi (the sorority she wants to be in and presumably those who live where the fire alarm went off) hates her. She explains how she isn’t a bad person and it was just an accident.

You really need to check out Soup.io if you haven’t already. I just found it tonight and thought I had stepped into heaven.

Ok well, maybe it wasn’t that dramatic but it’s pretty damn cool. You can stream all your social networking sites into one page like all your digg submissions, delicious, twitter, live journal posts, flickr, youtube, last.fm and any rss feed so it’s sweet as hell. I know there are other sites that do this but not like this..

Here’s a picture of Me and couple of my friends at one of those old time photobooths in Portland. We were at this bar/arcade called Ground Kontrol and they have all the old school arcade games, like Galaga, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong & Space Invaders.. so it was pretty cool.

In the first picture I was trying to smile but Annie was cracking me up, she makes great funny faces. Oh yeah..that’s me in the middle.

Google phone G1 coming out to play with Tmobile

With the introduction Tuesday of the Google phone — dubbed G1 by wireless carrier T-Mobile — we’re starting to see the potential disruption that Google and Android will bring in the coming year or two. It’s even greater than what Apple and the iPhone have already accomplished.

Under the hood with the G1

• of course the main difference with the iPhone is that the G1 sports a QWERTY slide-up keyboard, not a touchscreen keyboard
• the G1 will be a little heavier and thicker than the iPhone
• the “swipe” gesture is used on both the iPhone and G1; however, the G1 does not utilize the “pinch” gesture to zoom in/out on the touchscreen
• a 1 GB MicroSD card is preinstalled; the G1 supports an 8 GB MicroSD card
• the HVGA display is also a 3.17-inch, 65k color touchscreen
• for radio frequency buffs: GSM (800Mhz), GPRS (900), EDGE (1700). Wi-Fi and UMTS (1900) and HSDPA (2100) are supported (only 16 cities currently have T-Mobile’s 3G network)
• G1 allows dragging and dropping of pictures and text, which the iPhone lacks

Google offers a video explaining its Gmail, contacts, Calendar, and GTalk applications.

The on board apps…

Like the iPhone, the G1 ships with a few pre-installed applications (or Google Goodies) beyond the usual (contacts, browser, mail, chat), including:

• YouTube (duh)
• Maps (double duh)
• Search (duh x 3)
• Android Market
• Amazon MP3
• ShopSavvy (help people do comparative shopping)
• Ecorio (tracking your daily travel and carbon footprint)
• BreadCrumbz (step-by-step visual mapping and social network)
• Maps will utilize “compass mode” or “Street View,” giving you a live 3D map of where you need to walk (don’t bump into any streets signs as you walk and look at your G1)
• Push Gmail, which eliminates the need for a faux-Exchange server for push email. Remember: Google is already running mail servers for Gmail, while Apple operates MobileMe mail (formerly .Mac) on a much smaller scale and larger price tag (it’s $99 a year)

I guess that confirms it..they are in fact more then just BFFs. Not that we didn’t already know this but they’ve never come straight out and admitted to being lovers either..maybe all they need is a little prayer? According to Sarah Palin it is possible to convert homosexuals with the power of prayer..what a crock of crap. I don’t think God judges who we love just as long as we love.

Also in my humble opinion, if your in love then no matter if that person is a girl or a boy, then you should be proud to announce it in public. I think Lindsey needs to start wearing rainbows scarfs and participating in tons of inappropriate PDA with Sam. We’ve seen her do it with a ton of guys in public so what’s the difference LL? Are you ashamed of you are? Bummer.

Mommy is No Rock Star

Has your kid ever made you feel old? Yah? Don’t lie. Anyway there’s this game you may of heard of called Guitar hero…well I suck at it and I mean bad. It’s got to be funny as hell watching me just trying to play it. I just can not think that fast or I can think that fast but my fingers will not compute what I’m seeing. So lame. Looks like a fun game too bad I can’t compute.
My son however kicked that games ass. He beat the whole game in two days and we’ve only had it a little over a week. He looks like he’s actually playing the guitar when he’s playing..it’s pretty cute. He’s 11..aww my rock star son. So, I don’t get to be cool gaming mama but that’s ok. I get to be proud gaming mama instead on this one at least. Give me any of the Final Fantasy games or any RPG for that matter and he’s asking me questions so it’s even I guess. He rocks at hand eye and I’m just magical! :X

Now this kid here is just nuts…he is the world record winner for Guitar Hero! Insane clip. Watch and be amazed.
