Doodle Love

// June 30th, 2009 // No Comments » // Ibdreamy, Personal Pictures, Personal Posts, Pictures

I got a new GoldenDoodle puppy a couple days ago and he’s adorable. I had been researching them online and I searched through ever doodle site there is online.. looking for the perfect puppy at the perfect price. Which was not even close to easy. Most Doodles whether they be Labradoodles (Half Lab/Half Poodle) or GoldenDoodle (half Golden Retriever/Half Poodle) cost anywhere between 1,200 to 2,500 depending on the breeder and the location.

I found a breeder in Oregon (www.thegoldendoodles.net) which is an hour away and they had three Goldendoodle puppies 10 weeks old. The price for these 3 had gone down from $875 to $500! So, I jumped on it.

I’ve had and still have Doodle on the brain. I think they are the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen and extremely smart, loving and the best part..NO or very LOW SHEDDING! semi Hypo-allergenic dogs. Can’t beat that.

So here’s my puppy…kicking back.. I need to post some better pictures and I will this is one my best friend took yesterday morning.

This the picture my breeder sent me to pick from..he’s on the far left. She said he was the calmest so I picked him and boy was she ever right I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a mellow puppy in my life. Amazing!!

He’ll look like this eventually….

Dreamyicons - Free Profile Icons for Live Journal

// May 25th, 2009 // No Comments » // Alice in Chains, Blogging, Design, For Geeks, Graphic Design, Graphics, Ibdreamy, Icons, Live Journal, Personal Pictures, Personal Posts, Pictures, Useful, free

When I started really getting into the whole online social thing it all began with Live Journal and a community I started called Dreamyicons. We held icon contests based on themes. Now the community is just members posting icons that they’ve created..no more contests. So you’ll notice a lot of the icons have themes and you’ll also notice a lot of adult themed icons. I love pin-up art so.. I hope your eyes are not offended by sexy chicks.

Today I dragged all those old icons out of the closet and dusted them off. It’s been a couple years now since I made any new icons. Your free to use them for your journals, websites, Myspace, Twitter profile or what have you.

Crying Sorority Girl Video

// May 20th, 2009 // 1 Comment » // Ibdreamy, Videos

Girl sobs in a car about setting off the fire alarm while her friend tries to control her own laughter.

One of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time!

“So many people do bad things, and I didn’t mean to”

“Maybe I’ll just sweep… I’LL SWEEP THE FLOOR!!”

“I just wanted to make it snow!”

**Back Story**
Apparently, she wanted to make the hallway appear that it had snow in it, so she decided to use a fire extinguisher (this is something that her dad has successfully done in the past). Instead of there just being a “little poof”, the entire hallway filled with chemicals that caused the fire alarm to go off in the middle of the night during finals week.

Now this is her in the car upset that everyone at Alpha Chi (the sorority she wants to be in and presumably those who live where the fire alarm went off) hates her. She explains how she isn’t a bad person and it was just an accident.

Here’s a picture of Me and couple of my friends at one of those old time photobooths in Portland. We were at this bar/arcade called Ground Kontrol and they have all the old school arcade games, like Galaga, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong & Space Invaders.. so it was pretty cool.

In the first picture I was trying to smile but Annie was cracking me up, she makes great funny faces. Oh yeah..that’s me in the middle.

Good Times. :X

Mommy is No Rock Star

// September 12th, 2008 // 2 Comments » // For Geeks, Gaming, Ibdreamy, Parenting, Pictures, Update, WTF, Xbox

Has your kid ever made you feel old? Yah? Don’t lie. Anyway there’s this game you may of heard of called Guitar hero…well I suck at it and I mean bad. It’s got to be funny as hell watching me just trying to play it. I just can not think that fast or I can think that fast but my fingers will not compute what I’m seeing. So lame. Looks like a fun game too bad I can’t compute.
My son however kicked that games ass. He beat the whole game in two days and we’ve only had it a little over a week. He looks like he’s actually playing the guitar when he’s playing..it’s pretty cute. He’s 11..aww my rock star son. So, I don’t get to be cool gaming mama but that’s ok. I get to be proud gaming mama instead on this one at least. Give me any of the Final Fantasy games or any RPG for that matter and he’s asking me questions so it’s even I guess. He rocks at hand eye and I’m just magical! :X

My little Guitar Hero.. :)

Now this kid here is just nuts…he is the world record winner for Guitar Hero! Insane clip. Watch and be amazed.

18 of the Hottest Music Sites Online

// August 29th, 2008 // 5 Comments » // Ibdreamy

Here is a list of 18 of the hottest music sites and social networking music sites online right now. I hope you find it useful. It took me forever to put together..but I found some really cool website’s in the process. Enjoy!

Last.fm
- is another Web 2.0 veteran and is more socially-slanted than the others. Tagging is a big part of the last.fm experience and you can tag any song that comes along in addition to being able to listen to “user tag radio” which is based on tracks that users have tagged with a specific genera. last.fm has a separate desktop application that “scrobbles” the songs you listen to and generates a music profile that you can share with friends.

The Hype Machine - follows music blog discussion. Every day, hundreds of people around the world write about music they love. Then it all ends up here. Hype Radio is Internet radio that is powered by blogs. All the tracks that end up in the stream are songs recently mentioned by bloggers listed on the Hype Machine. It’s radio that’s truly powered by the Internet.

Pandora - is the granddaddy of the bunch and it’s one of the Web 2.0 applications that I can’t live without. It is built using OpenLaszlo and provides the cleanest experience out of all the applications on the list. Pandora uses the Music Genome Project to generate a stream of songs that you’ll like based on how you rate previous tracks. You create stations around artists, songs or albums and you can provide feedback (thumbs up or thumbs down) on the songs Pandora chooses.

One Bored Gamer Girl - Star Wars 2008

// August 20th, 2008 // 1 Comment » // For Geeks, Gaming, Geeks, I recommend, Ibdreamy, Ipod, PS3, Pictures, Videos, Xbox

I’m so bored with the video game selection that’s out right now. I’ve either played it or I don’t want to play it. My all time favorite games are , Silent Hill , , , (wallpaper), Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion…etc.

Basically think of any good fantasy-based, role-playing adventure game and I’ve played it. Has anyone played Dark Sector yet? I’m just curious if it’s any good..I haven’t heard much about it yet but it’s one of the last games at Blockbuster for PS3 that I haven’t rented yet..they have a crappy selection but their actually getting a tad better lately. Lame thing is they got rid of all their older games so if I wanted to rent Silent Hill 2 or SSX Tricky..I couldn’t..Blockbuster won’t carry older games anymore.
Anyway, there are a few games that are coming out soon that I’m excited about..

Silent Hill: Homecoming marks the sixth story in the Silent Hill mythos, and introduces a new protagonist to the mysterious town.The story follows Alex Shepherd, returning to his hometown of Shepherd’s Glen to investigate the sudden disappearance of his brother and the strange occurrences taking place around town. Shepherd unravels a tale that takes him from his boyhood home to the fog-shrouded streets of Silent Hill, facing the darkest horrors of his soul to find his missing brother.

OMG! Creepy as hell! The sound effects in Silent Hill have always creeped me out big time. I can’t play in the dark.

FlockStar!

// August 17th, 2008 // Comments Off // Applications, Browsers, For Geeks, Freeware, Geeks, I recommend, Ibdreamy, Social Network, Update, Useful, web tools

Flock is so bad ass..It seems I find a new feature on Flock everyday that makes me go “WOW that’s cool”.

_ For example I took this screen shot with Flocks built in screenshot tool that allows you to select clips and snap away.

_ It has a built in Blog editor so I can post to my blog using my browser

_A drag and drop web clipboard manager

_Media bar that streams media from sites like Flickr, Digg, Youtube, your Facebook friends

_A sidebar with all your updated feeds and social networking sites

_side bar listing all your accounts and services that you can click on an automatically be logged into

So if you haven’t tried it yet..dammit try it! I still use Firefox and I probably always will but I love me some Flock now and then.. it’s like my secret little drug…well maybe not that dramatic no..but it’s damn good? I love their My world page it shows me all my updates from my social networking sites. It’s nifty. (see screenshot)
